Retro Sketches #117~ Enjoy!

When I saw the latest sketch at Retro Sketches, I knew it would be the perfect chance to use my new PTI Phrase Play #4 stamp and die set! And once again I am trying to use up another of those 6X6 pads that have very little left in them! This one is from BasicGrey: Porcelain.

I started with a buttery soft yellow cardstock then added my layers according to the sketch. A couple of buttons and some light pink grosgrain ribbon for accents. I like this new die and have more ideas for it. I also like that you can get two cards from it by using both the positive and negatives from the die cut!

Thanks for stopping by today  ~Lisa

That die is sitting in my to-use box and now I'm inspired! I always picture it in bold and bright colors - but you've shown me how sweet it can be too.

I am kicking myself for not seeing that die in the sketch. Of course. Beautiful card, and I am so impressed that you are using up a paper pad. I don't think I have ever done that.

What a cool new die. And good for you, using up paper pads! I am on a similar quest to use up things i have, trying not to buy anything new. (It didnt last long...already bought new stamps from Power Poppy).
