Happy Birthday Darnell!

Have you heard? One of the sweetest people in card making blogland is celebrating a birthday! Bev (Happy Dance) and Ardyth (MASKerade) have gotten together to throw a birthday bash for the extra special Darnell ~ djkardkreations!  There's a linky party going on if you would like to make a card and join in the festivities. Thanks just what I did today. I couldn't let another moment go by without making something for this dear friend.

This one's for you Darnell!
Sending birthday wishes and blessings your way!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Those of you that know Darnell know that she is one fun gal! I thought she would enjoy a shaker card. And maybe, just maybe if Hammie is really good, she'll let him give it a shake or two *wink*.
I've used an assortment of Pretty Pink Posh sequins, 4mm & 6mm Metallic Gold, 4mm & 6mm Marshmallow and 6mm Mossy Green. I used some pretty MME paper and PS seam binding with my brand spankin new sentiment from Serendipity stamps (Thanks for the inspiration Marybeth!). I opened that bit of happy mail and inked it up lickity split. You see I think this world is indeed a wonderful place having someone extra special like Darnell in it!
I hope you enjoy you party Darnell. You have a way of making all of us feel special with the warm and wonderful comments you leave us. The least we can do is spoil you a little!
I think I'll link this up over at Simon Says Stamp. Their current challenge is {Shake It}...some how I just know Darnell would get a kick out of that!!! ~Lisa
Lisa , this is just perfect for Darnell. I love that stamp in a shaker card, it was meant for a circle. Oh what a pretty card! Did I tell you two of my girls had that song sung during mass I think when everyone gives the sign of peace.
So beautiful Lisa!
Lisa, there's so much going on in your gorgeous card, yet nothing overwhelms that incredible sentiment. This is just beautiful. Every element is perfect. Darnell is going to adore this card (though if I were her, I wouldn't let Hammie near it! lol). Sooo happy you were able to help celebrate our dear friends birthday! Bev
Oh, Lisa, thank you for spoiling me and yes, indeed, I feel very special and very loved! There will be no living with me and the Hammy any more!! In fact, we are late coming to call because it's been one party after the other between my birthday and the 4th of July!
We are in love with your sweet shaker card! Your designs always leave me with a dislocated jaw, you know that. The pretty patterned paper and the sediment and the seam binding with the cool closure which matches the sequins, MWAH! It is all perfect! A masterpiece of loveliness!!
I return the compliments right back atcha ~ the world is a better place because of YOU, too!
I hope you guys and Max had a fabulous 4th and are having a great summer weekend! Big hugs, Darnell
