With Heartfelt Thanks!
Hi there! Recently my very dear blogging friend Sue Lelli did me a big favor. I wanted to make her something special to repay her kindness. Now I just happen to know her signature and favorite color is pink, she likes to use text on her projects, and she does a variety of paper art. Not only does Sue do beautiful cards, but she makes artistic canvases, exceptional mixed media projects, expressive journals and loads more of creative works of art.
This little project began with an acrylic shadowbox frame from Darcie. I covered the front, back and inside pieces with MME paper, used a bit of brown chalk ink along the edges and filled the frame with PPP sequins (4mm & 6mm Metallic Gold, 4mm & 6mm Sparkling Clear, 4mm & 6mm Marshmallow, 6mm Pink Blush and 6mm PinkPeonies and pearls from my stash before sealing it up. I created a sweet cluster of MME felt rolled roses, pink grosgrain ribbon, a scissors trinket I've had forever, a trio of pearl pins and a tiny tag. I stamped "with heartfelt thanks" on the back, but forgot to photograph that!
