Precious Remembrance Shop Blog Hop ~ Day 2

I hope you're ready for some fun ideas and great prizes this weekend from TombowUSA  and Precious Remembrance Shop!

TombowUSA was generous enough to send each member of the PRS team a set of their Dual Brush Pens, along with some of their fabulous MONO Aqua Liquid Glue and a MONO Glue pen. We will be sharing projects featuring these products along with the {Thank You, Oh So Fun & Coffee Love} stamps sets.

If you're here from my teamie Rosemary's blog, then you’re in the right place. If not you may want to start at the beginning from the TombowUSA Blog. The complete hop list and details are listed at the end of my post.

For my second card in the hop I'm featuring the {Coffee Love} stamp set. I did a little paper piecing and water coloring on the various sections of the cup. These markers blend beautifully with a water brush! I used #020 on the lid and #020,#850 & #772 on the sentiment portion. If you look closely, you'll see several green lines in the upper left corner. Those were on the DP. To continue them throughout the design, I inked up one of the border stamps from the set using Brush Pen #969

Finally a nifty little trick for you to try. Don't have the correct color of binding for your design? Simply hold you Brush Pen on a fairly flat angle and pull the binding along under it! Works like a charm!! There are two colors blended on mine using #020 & #050.

That does it for me today, now hop on over to visit Debbie Fisher ~ enjoy!!!

thanks for the tip on coloring the binding. Love the way you replicated a design on a part of the DP onto the rest of the paper.
One problem with scrapbook paper is that they have a design in just a little area. If you want to make a card it's hard to work that in. You did a great job. The coffee cup looks good.

What a fun coffee themed card. This hop made me realize that I bought my daughter an entire set of Tombow markers years ago and never thought to 'borrow' (steal) them back to use on my cards.
