CCC #120 ~ Hello!

Hello! I would like to begin this post with a HUGE thank you for all of the emails, comments and cards I received for the loss of my beautiful boy Max. You, my friends, are simply the best and I appreciate ALL of you MORE than you'll ever know. We're hanging in there, missing him terribly and still finding ourselves looking for that sweet little face. I'm desperately trying to find a new normal, he was so engrained into my daily routine.

I have some baby news to share too. Our daughter-in-law's blood pressure has been spiking with a couple of trips to the ER. The high BP is harder on the baby then her. As a result her doctor will be inducing labor sometime the week of the 17th. She will be considered in the full term range then. Sooooooo.....our sweet baby girl will be here soon and for Thanksgiving this year!!

I had a flu shot the other day and am having similar side effects that I had from that tetanus shot I had back in the summer of 2013. What's up with that!?! You try to do the right thing and then end up feeling pretty icky. Oh well, I had to get it done for our baby girl!!

After a long intro to this post I guess you would like to see a card huh!! Well I have a sweet little CAS number that I put together for the latest CASology cue word ~ Sea. I knew right away I would use my cute Inkadinkado lighthouse!

I bought this little stamp a few years ago while vacationing in Cape Cod, they had the best stamp shop there!! The die cut oval is one of the Stitched Tags from Pretty Pink Posh. I picked up this adorable wave die by Impression Obsession at the stamp convention this year, love it! The tiny sentiment tucked into the waves is by MorningStar Stamps. I added the tiny rhinestone as my light and popped the lighthouse/wave combo up with foam tape. I just love this card, so sweet and simple!

I hope you had a great week and I wish you a blessed weekend! ~Lisa
