***I have been informed by some blogging friends that word verification is now on my blog. NOT my doing!! Anyone know how to remedy this? It is listed as NO in my settings. I also noticed it on several other blogs when leaving comments last night.***
Following the sketch, I embossed just a portion of a white panel for the lower half of my card. Next I added a couple of thin strips to the top along with some twine. The focal image is made up of those Holly Jolly leaves, MFT Vintage Flourish, PTI's Doily Details and Tag Its wreath. I added several little dots on the wreath with a Judith stick stamp and topped the holly berries with a trio of pearls. This pretty little sentiment is by Magenta.
The sketch really helped to pull the colors together for me!
Hope you like it! ~Lisa

So pretty Lisa! The embossed background looks fantastic!
So pretty, Lisa! Love the idea of a doily used as a wreath!
Yes, I've noticed that pesky word verification popping up on blogs everywhere recently......please let me know if it's on mine. I have no idea how to fix it!
Catching up after being sick for a week. This is so beautiful! I love all the doilys!
Lisa this design caught my breath, those intricate vintage flourishes. Beautiful!!
BEAUTIFUL Lisa!!!
beautiful card, lisa... you always work magic with the CQ colors!
Back again, Lisa, with a possible solution to that verification problem.....try going into your settings under posts and comments and under comment location, make sure it says Embedded...I changed mine from Pop-up Window to this, and the problem seems to be solved......Hope this helps!
Also, I hear that you can just ignore the numbers and publish as usual and it will......
love this!!
beautiful card Lisa!
This so sweet Lisa. I love the pop of color from the holly leaves and swirl. I had heard that blogger turned on reCAPTCHA but I don't know how to turn it off. I've been googling like crazy to see what I can find out and have come up empty :(
Such a great card!!
So pretty! Just love all the doilies!
Mine is doing that Wordy thingy too! :(
This is super cute, Lisa! And YES....everybody seems to have been bitten by the word verification bug! I am going to try Lin's suggestion...very annoying to have this happen!!!!
This is so pretty. I can keep looking at it and seeing more things to notice. Love all those pretty scrolly die cuts. It does seem like blogger is giving people word verification that they don't want. The good news is that the comment will still post even if you don't go through with the verification (if that makes sense).
This is just so pretty! What a way to work those colors! The white space really helps offset the boldness the colors bring. Once again ColourQueen, beautifully done!
Super sweet, Lisa! LOVE the use of color and the fun embellished wreath! HUGS! :) Mynn xx
Wow ! you always work wonders, I love the way u combine embossing and rest of the elements :)
I love how you were inspired by the fox's tail!
Hey, I heard that with this goofy word verification thing, you actually don't have to type in the stuff to submit a comment. I tried it, and it works!
That is funny that the tail inspired you....but it worked and I love this card! Darling!
Beautiful card Lisa!!! Love your interpretation of the colors...it's very clean and classy! The doily embossing is FAB :) !!! Hugs ~S~
AWESOME!! I LOVE this!! So BRIGHT and HAPPY!! =) THANKS for sharing and have a FABULOUS WEEKEND!! =)
Lisa...this is just stunning! I love sweet background with all the lace, just beautiful.
I'm in awe, Lisa! I adore this sweet card--every element is perfect! By the way, you probably know by now, but I read on someone's blog that word verification doesn't have to be completed on our blogs where we have it turned off. Wish Blogger would fix it, though!
Unusual color combo. BEAUTIFUL design and card!
Congratulations on your win at Retrosketches for your gorgeous and remarkable card, Lisa! So well-deserved!! Hugs, Darnell
Beautiful card Lisa. Love the partial embossing. If you have time can you tell me 'was that an embossing folder or did you use die and emboss with that. Looks so pretty
Congrats on being a Rockstar Lisa! This is absolutely gorgeous...love that subtle background with the doily. Have a fabulous Christmas!
