A Scrappy Little House!

Hi there!! After taking a crafting break during the holidays, I'm back with a brand spankin' new card in a brand spankin' new year!! Papertrey Ink has a great Make It Mondays challenge up letting us pick any technique from the 2014. I have always been a fan of Melissa Phillips and loved her Scrap Pie Charts in MIM #162. What a cute way to use up all of those little snippets that I hoard...Oh come on now, you do too!!!

I've used the Mat Stack #5 die along with the house from Love Lives Here to create this adorable little scrappy house. I even added one of Melissa's "junk bows" to my design.

I'll also be joining along at Simon Says Stamp on the Wednesday challenge blog where it's an Anything Goes theme. Thanks so much for popping by ~Lisa

You weren't kidding when you said using snippets - I guess so. I can honestly say I have no snippets, but I do have big scraps! :) Adorable house card, and awesome use of snippets~ no, I WILL NOT save snippet...I WILL NOT....LOL

Happy New Year!

Oh my gosh, this is adorable! I usually stay away from PTI's stuff as I could go hog-wild over there, but I might just have to check out this technique!! I do have a house die!!! Your embossing is sweet, as is your little ribbon embellishment. AND heaven knows I have scraps everywhere!!

I love your card, Lisa. The bright red against the white, the sweet snipet house, that junk bow, all perfect against the fun embossing folder.
