cQc #282 ~ God Bless You!

Hello friends did you have a happy Monday? We had a sunny one with warmer temps and it is "suppose" to hit 40 today...whoohoo heat wave LOL!!  Okay, enough about the weather, how about a card for the new palette at ColourQ.

I have a few layers of paper here, but this is really a pretty simple card. The focal panel is stamped with a birdcage by Impression Obsession. The blooms are colored with a colored pencil and the leaves a glitter Gelly Roll pen. This wonderful sentiment is by Inkadinkado, I think I picked it up at Hobby Lobby. I'm not sure about the addition of the flourish (MFT) die cut, but it's growing on me! After I added it, it looked lonely so I adhered the black rhinestone. Then it looked lonely so on went a few more!!

I'm so happy you took some time from your day to stop by. If you have a few more minutes, go say hello to my ColourQ teammates and see what prettiness they have to share today! ~Lisa

There is just a sweetness about this...from the sentiment to the image. I like the flourish, and the rhinestones are the perfect addition!

This is so very pretty. Each time I look I see something else I missed the first time. Of course, I love that birdcage--and the tiny flowers are so very sweet, and the enamel dots that are placed so perfectly, and how you hid that bit of newsprint on your scalloped border.

I think this came out perfect, Lisa! I love the use of the flourish--noticed it right off--& the black rhinestones are a beautiful embellishment!

Isn't it funny how we often just keep adding "one more" thing?! Love your "one more's" on this pretty card, Lisa. The text on your scalloped border is a nice touch!
