Muse #108 & PBSC~ Thanks!

Hey, guess what? I saw something the other day that I haven't seen for a long time...GRASS!!! Yep, the snow is slowing creeping away from the driveway's edge and the grass is showing it's sad soggy little face! The birds are chirping, the temps are rising and I saw a big fat fly clinging to the garage door for dear life. Could the elusive spring really be on it's way?

After a foggy night and morning, the sun is beginning to peek through the clouds. The perfect inspiration to join in over at Muse. My sweet bloggy friend Michele is this week's muse, with a sunny cheerful card!

I was inspired by the yellow patterned paper Michele used along with the coloring of the single sketchy bloom. My DP had a different pattern, so I dry embossed it to get the same look! I chose this trio of sketchy flowers by Penny Black stamped on a PTI label and decorated with a few PPP 6mm Marigold Sequins.

This is Michele's pretty card. As you can see I didn't stray very far!!

With my flowers being a Penny Black image, I will be playing along at the Penny Black Saturday Challenge! This one's for you sweet Greta!!

Thanks for visiting and a big thank you to my newest followers!
I appreciate you joining me on this blogging journey ~Lisa

How badly do I want that sketchy bloom? REally badly! Oh Lisa, your card is so pretty, every 'blooming' bit of it! Love that you had an embossing folder to mimic my DP! By the way, my grass is showing [over the septic system =] =] Thanks for playing cards with me this week at Muse!=] Michele

Ah, sweet yellow! This is like a breath of fresh air when the landscape is losing the white of the snow and returning to the brown & colorless. Soon! Anticipating the fresh blooms of spring!!! :)
I love the embossed background and the shaped mail panel on this, Lisa!

You must not live too far away from me Lisa, because your weather sounds identical to mine with even the fog this morning. I'm in southern Missouri and it's in the 70's today!! I see grass too, but there is still some patches of snow around. Anyway, your card is beautiful and so springy! I love the embossed background and the selective coloring! Just lovely!

This is so bright and cheery! Just the sort of thing that warms me right up! No grass sightings here but it's been warm all week and there's a lot of melting going on so hopefully I'll see some soon!

Lisa, your rocked your inspiration for sure...such a lovely abstract use of the image and adore the yellow and gray you used-that touch of gray twine really finished off this card perfectly!

Boy, have I ever become a fan of PPP sequins! Holy smokes. They've kind of taken over for my pearls for a while. ;)

Gorgeous card Lisa! Love how you paired the patterned paper and your embossing folder to create even more beautiful textures and the singly coloured daisy is striking. Those PPP sequins are a perfect match with your ink too :)
I have this Penny Black stamp and will be taking her out to play. Thanks for the inspiration!
