I took a break from crafting over the holiday weekend so I got busy yesterday with my card for ColourQ. It was a quick one!
There are leaves in the fabric from the inspiration photo that reminded me of feathers. Out came my Precious Remembrance Shop DIY Stamp Set with those wispy feathers. The splatters from the set make great little fillers. I pulled a sentiment from the New Day Stamp Set. With the help of Misti everything is as it should be on this card!! Better yet, it's a flat easy mailer too!
I would like to give a big warm welcome to my newest followers!!
Thanks so much for joining me in my blogging journey.
Have a blessed day everyone ~Lisa

What a cool way to use those feathers! Wonderful card, Lisa! My mom was over on Easter and I had to show her pictures of your Sweet P! She's just so precious!

Pretty!!! So loving how you made that color combo work <3
What a beautiful card! Love the feathers and the splatters! Glad you had a happy Easter. Glad the little one got to feeling better too. I remember mine being fussy at gatherings with lots of people too :)
So pretty, and yes I think the feathers are perfect! By the way, any time you need a hand in the kitchen - holiday or not - I'm your girl!

This is such a light and airy card. Love how you took those colors, which I saw as bold, dark and masculine, and turned them light and sweet.
Your "quick one" is pretty fabulous! I love those feathers and your design is beautiful!
Sounds like a GREAT Easter! I hope she gets over the hump of the teething discomfort sooner than later. It's the never ending stage it feels like.
Your card is awesome for it being a "quick" one. I feel like I have not been in my craftroom in forever. Too much going on. Baseball is in full swing with practices 3 to 4 days a week. First season game is Sunday.
Love this, Lisa! Your use of the colors is fantastic!
I love your card...not sure what I love more, your fabulous image or that amazing sentiment.
love how you used the PRS stamps on this fabulous clean and simple card, lisa!
Gasp! I'll take this flat easy mailer--LOL! You & Rosemary always wow me when you stamp with that set--but then, you ALWAYS wow me! This is a winner, my friend! So glad you had a nice Easter & hopefully Sweet P felt good long enough for a picture--I know she was a little doll. My sis sent me a picture of her foster baby dressed for the day--nothing like a baby girl in her holiday finery!
This is gorgeous! I love it!
What a beautiful reminder and gorgeous take on the palette, Lisa! So glad you had a wonderful Easter! We relate to those teething pains. Poor Sweet P!
LOVE your colors and how you used the PR stamps! Sorry about Sweet P!
Well, Lisa, you must know I adore this card...been busy with the kids off all week so not much bloggy time, but had to say hello and WOW! I love these colors and mix of PRS stamps...Pinned immediately!!!
Glad sweet p is feeling better, I think she wanted you all to herself. Love your beautiful card and the font of the sentiment. Glad Easter went well , we were also blessed with a wonderful day.
LOVE LOVE LOVE those Feathers!! Such a NEAT and UNUSUAL Design!! I LOVE the colors though!! SO HAPPY you had a GREAT Easter!! I too thought Greyson was running a Temp. because of his Molars coming in, but seems he had Molars coming in plus a Sinus and Ear Infection and started to get a Lung Infection because of all of the Junk!! THANKS goodness we caught it before it turned into Pneumonia!! That wouldn't have been GOOD!! Anyway, we spent Easter at home, we were together though and that is ALL that matters!! Have a FABULOUS WEEK!! =)
This is so pretty Lisa!
