PP #241 & VV #14 ~ Life is Beautiful!

Hey, how are you? Spring is in full swing for us with typical Ohio weather. A couple of beautiful 70 degree days followed by windy weather that took us down to the mid 40's!! But those warm days did help more pretty blooms to pop and the trees to fill in a little. It inspired me to play along with the Paper Players CAS and watercoloring challenge. So I set out layering up a card that I could also enter at Virginia's View.

This one is a feminine mini card using PTI's Meadow Greens. I began with a small watercolored panel made with ink and markers. I topped it with the embossed queen anne's lace blooms. For extra frilliness, I die cut a green vellum panel and the card base with a Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 2 die. A little sprinkling of PPP 4mm Sparkling Clear Sequins top it off without too much fussiness.

Thanks so much for visiting with me today ~Lisa

Oh, goodness I love how the bit of embossing on the florals gives this such elegance. Pretty and feminine for sure!

Speaking of swooning! Oh I adore this Queen Anne's lace, Lisa! I may have to look into it... 20 years ago, in May, I walked down the aisle carrying a little bouquet of white tulips, and Queen Anne's Lace! *sigh* So, so beautiful...

I came across your Jan 8, 2015 design of 'shaker' card. I purchased the pocket die and have the other die. What I'm wondering is where you got the 'vine' flourish that you used on the front of the card??

Lisa Elton said...

I hope you pop back here for the answer about the vine die Cali. I couldn't find any contact info for you!! Those pretty little vines are from Top Dog Dies. The set is called Leafy Flourishes.
