cQc #303 ~ Thinking of You!

Hidy-ho blogging friends! I'm popping in with my ColourQ post. We have a new palette up today. When I saw the inspiration photo I knew I had a couple of DeNami stamps that would work well for this one. Take a look...

I decided on one of the stamps from their Ornamental Centerpieces set. I stamped it using Orange Zest, Dark Chocolate and Autumn Rose inks from PTI. After coloring them in with colored pencils, I held my breath and cut it diagonally down the middle!! I had no design plan with this card and was just kind of winging it ~HA!! I added these panels to an espresso mat then decided to do a fun Washi Tape border. I put the Washi on computer paper then die cut it. Everything went onto a white card base. My sentiment and rhinestones are also from DeNami.

It didn't turn out to bad considering everything was sort of willy nilly!! I hope you have time to play along with us this week. I also hope you'll visit my teammates, they are pretty amazing!! ~Lisa

Fun color challenge! That stamp is perfect for bursts of color and the diagonal split with the sweet scallops looks wonderful.

This is so pretty!! Sometimes going in without a plan is the best way to do things - it can be really freeing. Or frustrating - depending on the day. But it definitely worked out in your favor this time around. Speaking of things working out, if you have examples of the notebooks and post-it holders you sold, I would love to see them!

Beautiful card! I love the design and extra kudos for winging it! Sometimes I need to do that. I'm guilty of spending too much time trying to decide.
