Paper Players #259 ~ Life is Beautiful!

Hello and welcome! We have a new challenge up at the Paper Players, a sketch courtesy of Joanne. I will admit I had to study this one a bit and give it some major thought. Once that little lightbulb went off, everything went together smoothly and I love the way it turned out!! Take a look...

What do you think? The idea for my inlaid die cut circle came first and I built the rest of the design from there. My banner (cut from MME paper) is a trimmed down PPP Stitched Banner Duo. I cut the MFT circle from it then inlaid it into the banner and a white panel. I knew I wanted some sort of flower for the second circle in the sketch. PTI's Beautiful Blooms II die cuts were layered up and topped with a MFT Mini Rolled Rose. Those pretty leaves and sentiment are from PTI's Meadow Greens. I popped on a few PPP Pink Blush Sequins (4mm & 6mm) for a sweet finishing touch.

The Paper Players DT sure knocked this one out of the ball park! Go check out their projects then come play along, we would love to have you join us this week.

Thanks so much for stopping by today ~Lisa

Hi Lisa!
This particular floral patterned paper is my all-time FAVORITE. I believe it's My Mind's Eye, and I am still hoarding all that I have left of it. One uncut 12x12 and a few scraps. I just think it's SO gorgeous. Your card looks awesome.

I saw that you linked up your Back-To-School card at CCNS. I'm actually not on their DT any longer (I was years ago), but I know that they don't get enough participation in their challenges, and they're really a fun store and challenge blog. I hope you will continue to join them.

I do actually have my own challenge blog, Word Art Wednesday, and I would love to have you link up with us there ANY time you can. Our challenges at Word Art Wednesday are always Anything Goes/Family Friendly and we have awesome prizes. In fact, we're having a HUGE celebration the week of September 9, and there will be over a dozen great prizes. I really hope you will stop by and check us out. It's so nice to find you and to see your lovely art work.

Blessings,
Karen
