cQc #306 ~ Bouquet of Love!
Hello! Wow did the summer ever fly by. I'm not ready to let it go. But it's already the first of September and some of the leaves have begun to change. I suppose fall is coming whether I'm ready for it or not!! To lift my so long summertime spirits, I made a little floral (Endless Creations) card for this week's ColourQ challenge.
Using my Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Banner Duo 2 die to hold my sentiment and focal point turned out better than I expected! There's a layer of fun foam under it for dimension. But I set the circle back in deep for added interest! I stamped a pretty Impression Obsession vine horizontally on my card. Next I laid the die on the card, masked off the card front, then stamped the vine again so that things matched up. The stitched circle is from DeNami Design and the sentiment also by IO. I couldn't let the polka dots (mine are by DeNami Design) from the inspiration photo go unrecognized!! The ribbon and button weren't planned. They cover a boo boo on the stitched circle ~ shhh!

Ooooh this is so pretty with the polka dots and that beautiful sentiment font! I wish we would see fall but not a least for another month here. Happy today is a bit cooler and maybe I can turn the air off. Darling card Lisa!

Fall is definitely in the air here in Seattle. We actually had a huge wind and rainstorm go through over the weekend and it's raining again today. My garden is loving the moisture - so dry! But we are still not ready for school to start next week! Summer flew by way too fast! Love your sweet card! :)

Oh so sweet!! Love the simple image - I haven't pulled out my Endless Creations stamps in forever. I love the bold black polka dot stripe mixed with the dainty blue 'greenery" stripe - lovely look!
