Hello! There's a pretty new palette up at ColourQ. We hope you can join us in this week's challenge. I've used the colors on an anniversary card for my mom and dad who will be celebrating their's next month!
On a visit to Mackinac Island, my mom and I jokingly claimed it as our own. I gave her a Mary Engelbreit title, The Queen of Everything and I was the Princess of Quite A Lot!! As time passed her title included my dad and they became the King & Queen of Everything!! I think they'll enjoy this card including these fancy wooden crowns. They were a challenge prize a few years ago from an Etsy shop called the Pork Chop Show!!
Because the crowns are so detailed, I kept the rest of the card pretty simple. I layered up some Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 3 die cuts. The "happiness" sentiment is from Impression Obsession and the tiny "wishing you" is from Precious Remembrance Shop. I sprinkled on a little royal bling in the form of PPP Cranberry sequins (4mm & 6mm).
Be sure to check out what my teammates have to share, they are amazingly talented! I hope to see your card in our gallery this week. Be blessed and have a wonderful day! ~Lisa

What a fun card, Lisa! I know your parents will adore it! My sisters used to call me "Madame Queen" because, being the oldest, I bossed them around all the time.....
This is a wonderful card design. Love those crown embellishments, and the way you've got your three layer die cut. And, your story of being Queen and Princess is a good one. I'd like to be Queen of everything, and I just might rename myself.
