cQc #315 ~ Thankful for You!

Hello and welcome! What a beautiful week we are to have here in Ohio. The first week of November in the low 70's...I'll take it!! Sweet P and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon walk yesterday and plan do have another today, tomorrow...you get the picture! Speaking of pictures, we have a new inspiration photo up for the new ColourQ challenge. This one has some wispy leafy elements in it and that was my inspiration.

I stamped a leafy vine cluster from the PTI Turning a New Leaf set onto a white panel. Once with Ripe Avocado ink then again without re-inking. Next came a few little splatters and sentiment from the PRS Fall Colors Stamp Set. The teeny heart is from DeNami. I stamped them with an older pigment ink that I have and then accidentally smeared them. I decided to roll with it and started rubbing my finger over the ink to get the ink blended look. Eureka...it worked!!  I was stumped on how to work in the Island Indigo so I used it as blended ink too. A trio of PPP 4mm Sparkling Clear Sequins add just a little zip!

Okay, now it's your turn!
Can't wait to see your cards in our gallery.

It was in the 70s here today too. I went for a walk on my lunch hour and it was just wonderful! And speaking of wonderful your shaded background fits that description to a T! It really makes the leafy images and the sentiment stand out.

Such a sweet card! We had typical Seattle weather last weekend, but our mountains actually got some snow. So I can't complain and can't wait to start snowboarding:)!
