The 12 Kits of Occasions!

Hello friends! It's time once again for the 12 Kits of Occasions team to share our projects made from our December kit. We have two special guests joining us this month. You'll have to pop over to the 12 Kits blog to see who it is! I hear tell there's a give-a-way happening too!

Lindsey had the honors of providing this month's kit: Walking in a Winter Wonderland. Wow oh wow was it filled with lots of sparkly fun!! I made oodles of cards so lets get right to it shall we!

First up this shimmery kraft card stock topped with a die cut sentiment and gorgeous poinsettia!

Of course I couldn't resist using the polka dot DP. That and a purple mat were die cut with Mama Elephant frames. Aren't these snowflakes fun!

I felt the wood slice and deer looked right at home with the rustic wood DP. I cut apart one of the sentiments then added them with foam tape. I even tucked in a Pretty Pink Posh Mini Tags Die.

I used a My Favorite Things stitched circle die to put together this wintery scene. Love the way the pine bough looks arched over it! I thought a sentiment would have distracted, so I just added one to the inside.

I LOVE the way this one turned out!! More sweet polka dots were in the kit along with some stripes. I used a Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 1 die for the hills. I even made a snowbank with the sentiment!

This card went to one of our very special neighbors, such a nice family. I loved the teeny tiny pearls in the kit. They worked on the pine trees quite nicely. This shimmery polka dot paper is divine ~ swoon!!!

You can find all of the product information for this kit on the 12 Kits of Occasions blog. I've linked anything extra that I used here on my blog. Thanks so much for sticking with me for this long post. Don't forget to see what the team and our special guests have to share! ~Lisa

So many beautiful cards Lisa! I had to smile at the bear card some of us had the same ideas with making our cards. The card for your neighbors is so pretty, a little peaceful village. Well done but then how could we go wrong with this wonderful kit.

What an incredible kit & you made magic with it, Lisa! Love them all--especially the one with the trees & your sentiment on the snowbank! Wishing you a wonderful 2016!

Oh, Lisa! I've been oohing and aweing and loving EVERY SINGLE card you made with the kit. Of course, the one you sent to me is a favorite...so special! I love you you incorporated the sentiment with the hills and knowing how narrow the strip the sentiment was stamp on it is extra impressive. I knew you'd love the polka dots...I smiled and thought of you as I worked with them creating the kits and creating my cards. AI adore the sweet homes on the hillside with all the fabulous pearl touches. I honestly love them all, but another one that really stands out to me is the collage you created with the deer and the wood...just fabulous. Oh, and the scene with the polar bear...love that you stuck with just grey, green, and white on that one. Lisa, you are so talented! What a joy to see how you used my kit. :)

Lisa, you are nothing short of genius. I love all of your cards--so many clever and wonderful combinations of elements. I was totally stumped about that slice of tree and the deer, and I love how you used those bits. And, I think I am going to move right into your wonderful and peaceful neighborhood with the sparkly purple sky. Love how you combined the polar bear with the mountains and all of those trees. yikes, every time I take another peek, I find something else.

Every card is just amazing! You really captures the theme and brought it into every design. Love all the polka dots! The wood elements with the deer look fabulous. And your mountain scene looks so wonderful with the pine bough and just green and neutrals. Adding the extra trees was a brilliant touch! You definitely worked wonders with Lindsey's kit! Wishing you a very happy New Year!

Lisa, you have the eye for how to place things perfectly! The way you knew just where to put the houses on the hill, and that cool way that you added the sentiment into the snow drift, just wow! I also love how you cut up the sentiment with the deer and wood slice card (we both thought to use the wood slice with the deer :)
