12 Kits of Occasions ~ January 2016!

Hi there! It's time for another round of cards from the 12 Kits of Occasions team! Lindsey is our hostess again this month. Her kit, called {Celebrating You}, was filled with so much prettiness!! I have several cards to share and lots of goodies leftover to use in the future!

First up is a pretty floral Valentine! I simply layered die cuts provided by Lindsey. The tiny solid hearts on the banner along with the "love" are coated with Wink of Stella.

This hooray die cut panel was the perfect base for a festive shaker card. I threw in a few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins (4mm & 6mm). They look so pretty with the seed beads in the kit.

I had so much fun with this next one! I added some Pretty Pink Posh Aquamarine Sequins (4mm & 6mm) to the sparkly gold ones from the kit. The big balloon looked a little lonely so I added a few clouds of my own (also PPP). The sentiment is die cut with a PPP Stitched Border 3 die and popped up with foam tape.

Don't you just love this sentiment!! I paired it with some of the beautiful papers Lindsey sent and it didn't need another thing!

I wanted to soften this geometric image up a bit by watercoloring in some pastel colors. I'm crushing on gold right now for cards and was thrilled to see it in the kit! Just look at this sparkly gold paper ~ SWOON!!!

By sure to visit the 12 Kits Team and leave them some love. They always do such an amazing job with their cards. I anxiously await their posts so I can CASE them with my leftovers!! Have a wonderful weekend and thanks so much for stopping by ~Lisa

OMG Lisa.. the card I wish I made is the balloon floating in the clouds with that pretty twine layered under the sentiment. I just cant stop staring! So smart how you broke up the gold on the "you are my most" with the diagonal sheet of blue glitter too!

Lisa, the coloring on the map card reminds me of stained glass! It is gorgeous! That balloon card is so cool because it really looks like its drifting away in the sky. I love the layering on the you are my most favorite card, and that perfect pop of teal sparkles!

Hmm...I was certain I commented before because I remember you fabulous cards...but I'll gladly comment again! Your pastel origami map card is absolutely incredible!! I love every last detail. I am totally want to CASE the "You're my Favorite" card...love it so much. The sequins filled balloon is so fun, and I love how the confetti isn't just confined inside the hooray circle, but that you sprinkled it out. You worked wonders with this kit, Lisa!

Every single creation is fabulous! You were meant to show off these kits! You do an excellent job and oh how fun!

On a side note, please accept my apology for not commenting sooner! I am checking in, but school and balancing life is a challenge. I am on the just about two each way because of traffic and my weekends are filled with studying. I see my little guy just about an hour each night before he goes to bed and I am up burning the midnight oil.
