The 12 Kits of Occasions!

Happy Leap Day! And if you were born on Feb. 29th, Happy Birthday!! It's time for another round of cards from the team at The 12 Kits of Occasions. Nancy is our hostess this month. Her kit is called {Watercolour Wonder} and it was packed with SO many pretty sparkly things. She sure spoiled us a bit *wink*!

There was ribbon wrapped around this tag for delivery in the kit. Who could pass up those pretty gold polk dots! I watercolored and trimmed out these delicate gold embossed blooms then added the trimmings to the tag.

Oh how I love the sparkle on this one!! I left the flowers uncolored to let all of the gold prettiness stand out. Just a light wash of green was added to the leaves.

A thin strip of DP was all these oversized gems needed!

I got a little artsy on this one with the splotchy watercoloring on the flowers, tilted panels and vellum overlay. I hand cut the banner. For the record, my in house critic doesn't like this one ~ HA!!

After the artsy card I went simple so this pretty butterfly die cut could remain the focal point.

Can't wait to visit my teammates to see what they've made with their kits! You can find all of the details for the supplies included in our kit on the 12 Kits blog

I'll be back in just a bit with a Precious Remembrance Shop post! Until then...

And your water coloring on those flowers is just gorgeous and your in house critic needs their eyes checked...I think it is a lovely card!! Love all of these beauties, Lisa! Those soft yellow magnolias look so gorgeous. Great idea to stack the blooms too. It really does make the sparkly background glow. I really like how you did the butterfly with the embossing and sprinkling of pink enamels. Fabulous job with Nancy's kit!

Wonderful collection of cards, Lisa. I love them all. Brilliant tag--I could not figure out what to do with that ribbon and the tag, so expect to see my version of this one day.

Lisa what gorgeous gorgeous cards! I can't get over that fabulous bow you tied on your tag at the top, I wish I lived close to you so you could tech me how. Beautiful shimmer effect on the second and I just love how you used the patterned paper with the diamonds. You rocked this kit my friend!

Lisa, you did the most amazing things with this kit!!! Your sparkly card is gorgeous...love that you captured it so well in the photo, too. The tag couldn't be prettier, and I love the items you paired with the patterned paper. I couldn't come up with something I liked with the blessed butterfly die, but I LOVE what you've done with it. I want to CASE that one for sure!
