Two Peas in a Pod!

Hello, hello! Sorry about the dry spell going on here. Little Sweet P had double ear infections this week. She needed some extra snuggles and attention. Not to mention numerous nose wipes!! Mama and daddy where down with colds too. I ended up with a scratchy throat. Hubby, unscathed!! We're all on the mend now!

I do have this little diddy to share today. It's for no particular reason. Just using my baby girl's stamp set Sweet Pea (Precious Remembrance Shop)! I'll enter this over at Simon Says Stamp where it's anything goes.

I stamped the small pea pod several times on the bottom of a white panel. I opted not to color it and kind of like the look. The in house critic does too! This sweet floral paper is one I've been hoarding, not much left. It's die cut with a PTI tag then topped with more PTI Limitless Layers circles holding a stamped and colored pea pod. I split the sentiment here and placed in on my block with a curve. A bit of Wink of Stella for sparkle is always a good thing! The striped strip is cut with  PPP Stitched Borders 1 die. Just as in the sparkle instance, a paper doily never hurts! Oh, and I forgot to mention those sweet ME frames!
We're off to 5:00 Mass today followed by something yummy for dinner. Just have to decide where to go this week! Have a wonderful weekend, be blessed! ~Lisa

What a precious card Lisa! I love the soft, muted colors you used and the way you created the bottom panel background by repeatedly stamping the sweet pea stamp all over!

Hello Lisa: I hope little Sweet Pea is much better now, ear infections on babies are so frustrating for parents, (and grandmas) and painful for the little ones.
Your card is just adorable, the fact that you didn't color the bottom part really draws your eyes to the beautifully colored pea pod. I also hoard some DSP but I only like the one that it's one sided.
Sending Healing~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~for you and your family.
Big Hugs.
Maria.

So sorry to hear of all the ear infections and colds. I hope you are all well by now. I sure don't miss those early and germy days. Your card is so sweet. I really love the background you made with the uncolored peas, and it is fun to see Mat Stack #3--a wonderful oldie die.

Oh no! Not fun for everyone to be sick! Poor little Sweet Pea - ear infections can be so painful! I have been in the same boat but finally feeling better. Love your sweet pea card!!!! Such a cute background and lovely layered centerpiece!

Lisa, this is so pretty! I know this is random, but the mix of textures, patterns, and colors would be so pretty as bedding and pillows, don't you think? I'm so sorry to read that you all (well, almost all) have been under the weather...especially little Sweet P. My son had chronic ear infections as a baby and they were the worst...so little you can do and so hard to watch them suffer. Glad to see that you are on the mend and hopefully all better now.
