cQc #334 ~ Hey Chickie!

Hello! Are you ready for a new palette from ColourQ? Arielle has found another super cute inspiration photo for us! It reminds me of summer and that sure beats the 28 degrees we woke up to this morning!

I pulled out my Pretty Pink Posh Storybook 1 die to create a cute trio of summeriness! The main panel contains a fun DeNami chickie holding an ice-cream cone. I added my sentiment (also DeNami) here with PPP Stitched Speech Bubbles die. I don't know why, but I always think of stars when I create summer cards. Independence Day I suppose! Mine today are also by DeNami. I love those teeny stars! And finally what is summer without a little red gingham? I topped mine with another ice-cream cone. This one is Stamps by Judith. The sweet scallop punch is Martha Stewart. I brought on the bling with my favorite PPP Sparkling Clear Sequins (4mm & 6mm). If you don't have them in your stash, you really need to get some. They go with everything!!

Okay, I'm off and running. Have a splendid day ~Lisa

28 degrees--It's hard for me to imagine that. Your card is a true story board for spring and warmer weather. I love that wee ice cream cone, on it's gingham place met (although if you ever served me that small of a portion of ice cream, we would not remain friends for long).

Everything I love about Summer, too, Lisa! An ice cream, under the stars, on a gingham tablecloth! Just lovely - it warms me just to think about it ... cold here, too =\ xx
