cQc #359 ~ You're the Best!

Hello sweet bloggy friends! We have a new palette up at ColourQ and a perfectly sweet inspiration photo!

I started with a watercolored (smooshed!) panel. Next came a stamped trio of Altenew Painted Flowers. I combined PTI's Simply Chartreuse ink and a golden yellow Tombow Brush marker to get my Summer Starfruit yellowy green for the leaves. Turned out pretty good, don'tcha think! A typewriter was trimmed from some patterned paper in my stash. The fun black speckled paper was die cut with a Pretty Pink Posh Scallop Borders die. The blue check paper in the background is an old scrap I had. I think it's by Lasting Impressions. And last but not least, I added a few PPP Clear Droplets (4mm & 6mm).

ColourQ is part of the Altenew challenge hop!

I hope you enjoy your day. We finally have a break in the heat, thank goodness!! Sweet P and I will be enjoying a walk today and maybe blowing a few bubbles too!! ~Lisa

So beautiful! Would you believe I have the Painted Flowers set, but have never inked it up. The shame. This card makes me want to get it out right this minute. :)

Oh my word--this is fabulous, Lisa! Gorgeous & modern--love it!

You seem to be able to use the Painted Flowers set so much better than I can Lisa - I never quite nail it like you have done here. Love how you've used it as a background to the typewriter. The crisp stamping of the typewriter goes really well with the softer blooms!
