Taking a short break...

Hello friends. I will be taking a short blogging break with the exception of a couple of scheduled posts. We have had a very sad and difficult week. My husband's sister has passed away after a short battle with cancer. She was not only a sister to me, but as I've mentioned here before, we were stamping buddies.

Many outings to buy supplies, stamp conventions, a few years of sharing a craft booth, long phone conversations about stamping techniques or what was new in the industry. So many good times full of laughter and fun. She was the one who "got it". You know, the one who understood why you would rather shop at Archivers than a shoe store. The one who knew how relaxing it was to get inky and color. The one I had card challenges with. The one who loved all things glittery and sparkly.

I will miss her immensely and think of her every time I see a snowman or House Mouse stamp. Heaven has become watercolored and has been sprinkled with glitter.
