Thank You!

Hi there! I finally found time to make a card yesterday for The Card Concept challenge. I had everything done but the sentiment. I added it and it moved making a blurry image. Totally mess up my card...uuugh...

Not to be defeated, I wasn't about to give up on it. After all, I had found the perfect scrap of ancient Basic Grey paper to use. That scrap became a snippet after card surgery! My card was completely different but so much prettier. I'm happy now! I think going to Mass after the blunder yesterday and a visit from my Sweet P today made everything brighter!

So many lovely things in the inspiration photo caught my eye. I created a clean and layered card based on the overall feminine look of the photo. Various shades of pink and a nod to the polka dots I spied! Do you see them on my card?

Thanks for taking a peek!

Isn't it wonderful when a boo-boo turns into something even better?! That pp is so gorgeous & the tiny dots in the roses adds so much! Always love seeing your doily ef & the sweet heart & beautiful flower (looks like DeNami to me--right?) make a stunning card, Lisa! What a blessing to spend time with little Miss Sweet P! Enjoy your week!

Aargh! I hate when that happens! And it happens to me way too often... I'm glad you didn't quit though because this is gorgeous. I love all the soft layers and that gorgeous lacy vellum heart!

I had an oops today, too, Lisa! This one didn't work out as beautifully as this, however! LOvely, cheerful, and oh yes, I spotted those darling polkas! xx

I was going to say "so soft and pretty" but I see Laurie said the same thing. That must make it so, Lisa.

Just saw this beauty in the lineup, and gasping with appreciation! Whatever blunder happened to produce this rosy wisp should be applauded. Adore all the scallops, and the white dots. Gorgeous layout too!

Another adorable card. Love the use of the backgroud stamps and then the rose that stands out on top.
