CTS #212 ~ Hello!

Hello sweet peeps! I hope it's warm where you are. We have snow, we have wind, we have low temps and it's not...done...yet. What's a girl to do? Make cards of course!! I have one today for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.

I used my Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Notes die to cut some cute patterned paper. I attached it to my card base then added small snippets of a paper doily. The card base was cut at 5 1/2" x 4" to let the doily flow off the edge on either side. My die cut sentiment is from Mama Elephant. Things looked a bit plain so I added a row of sequins (4mm & 6mm Metallic Gold, 6mm Marigold, 4mm & 6mm Marshmallow).

I'm so happy you took the time to stop by!

I love your take on the sketch Lisa! No, winter showed up late here! Ugh! I was wearing shorts in February. To me this is cruel! We have wind and snow and low temps as well! I like what you did with your time! A fabulous card! :)

Man oh man do I love this!! You totally rocked this challenge!! Love the paper you used and the addition of the doily edges. The icing to the whole card, though (which is the best, IMHO) is that FABULOUS line of sequins!! LOVE this card!!

Adding real doily to the doily printed paper was a great touch, Lisa. This is such a cute card.

How sweet is this Lisa! The added bonus of the lace doily snippets are so creative! We have had no additional snow but we still have about a foot on the ground left from November's first big snowfall. Record amounts this year and lots of cold and nasty wind too. Hoping March goes out like a lamb!

Love that colorful die cut sentiment. It never occurs to me to cut those out of patterned paper. What a great look!
