Good morning friends! It's time for another post from the 12 kits of Occasions team! Our newest member Birgit is our hostess this month and sent us an incredible kit to work with! My goodness do the reds, minty greens, and yellows ever make my heart happy, happy, happy! Lets get right to it...
Isn't this strawberry paper divine!! I die cut the bottom edge with a Pretty Pink Posh Scallop Borders 2 die. My gingham paper was also cut with a PPP die ~ Stitched Borders 3.
I wanted to let this cute die cut apron take center stage so I just used some of the PP along with a simple die cut sentiment.
Sigh...another paper that has me swooning!! I love this sentiment too. My little banner was made with PTI Tiny Tags.
My last one has me dreaming of the fresh cheeries my hubby and I have enjoyed on many summer trips to Michigan. Pulling up to one of the many roadside stands to buy a basket or two and munching on them as we traveled along visiting lighthouses! I wasn't sure about this card when I started it. But love the way it turned out! I have used another PPP Stitched Borders 3 die here too.
Bravo to Birgit on her first kit!! I've enjoyed it so much. I've saved lots of goodies to use after gathering some inspiration from the team. I'm headed there now. Come along with me, we'll have lots of fun!

Lisa, these are all so darling!! I love the wonderful mix of patterned papers on the first card and the strawberries and bow finish it off just perfectly. The stringed banner is totally sweet! The quilted paper is one of my favorites too and I just love how it frames the sentiment. The apron card and cake card both make me think of a 1950's diner. So retro and vintage-y... ~~~swoon~~~ What fun seeing my first kit being used by so many creative gals. Thanks so much for letting me join you all. <3
Lisa I am going right to that cherry on the cake card.... my goodness I love everything about that card the deep colors and that layers background with patterned paper is jaw dropping! How fun that it brought back sweet memories ! So many beautiful cards here today , Lisa! The sweet memory card is darling too!
Wonderful cards Lisa, love this kit. Looking at the cards is making me think back to mum when I was young.
I always love coming to your blog to see what you've done with these kits Lisa, and you definitely made 4 FABULOUS cards this month! Your cherry card got me as I'm a cherry girl at heart (born in Traverse City and my grandfather owned a cherry farm...spent my summers climbing the trees with all my cousins and picking (and eating!) the cherries!!). Really loved your card with the little banner from the Tiny Tags too...so sweet and I think I have enough paper left to CASE that one! Thank you for all the inspiration...you definitely did Birgit proud!! :0)
Miss Lisa, I'm drooling over each and every one! Especially the cherry cake! Adore how that card is put together, with the cherry dp and ever cherry rhinestones. But I'm mentally filing away the PTI tiny tag banner, with the heart brads, fabulous!!!
Lisa, you and this kit are a match made in heaven. I love that you layer but still maintain such a clean style. Your quilt card is my absolute favorite!!! I love EVERYTHING about it! And I'm so excited to CASE your apron card. These are all just so wonderful!
I'd say this was the perfect kit for you, Lisa! Love all your cards--the PPP border dies really are a great element--may need to get another set myself! The Tiny Tags banner is fabulous--I need to do that! We've got lighthouses, too, so how about you head West to do some exploring?!
Your creations from Birgit's kit are amazing, Lisa, and I enjoyed the commentary, too! I stared a long time at the first card with those vintage kitchen canisters ... brought back memories for me!! Hugs, Darnell
what a fun set of cards, lisa!!
Hello my friend! I've just spent a bit of time perusing this perfect, patterned-paper filled post! I think this kit was designed just for you, Lisa! You have created such wonderful cards in a way only your eye can see them - and that means LOTS!! LOve the tiny little banner, and OMG the legs sticking out from under the apron?! LOve YOU! indeed! xx

What a fun and girly kit! Love the great cards you created Lisa!
What a fun kit! all those bright colors are fabulous
Oh I am loving how you used these pretty papers and stamps. You did a fabulous job of layering these papers. I would have such a hard time using them because they are so graphic but you totally ROCKED it. I think my favorite is the apron!!
Fabulous, Lisa ... you've put together the patterns and colours so brilliantly ... there's such a wonderful sense of nostalgia about each one! I was especially taken with the clever placement of the apron (laughed out loud at the feet sticking out at the bottom) ... and with that luscious cherry cake (so scrumptious)! Hugs, Anita :)
Your creations always have the most amazing details! Love how you combined papers and used dies to add just the right amount of interest. The banner you created using PTI Tiny Tags is genius! I definitely want to try that. And the cake card is gorgeous! Love the colors and those luscious cherries!
Yummy! and I love the retro feel of each one : ) delightful!

Fabulous cards Miss Lisa...just so beautiful. Love your soft and sweet elegant touch you added to all the Birgit's supplies, pure beauty!
You outdid yourself with these beauties!!! I love, love, love the cherry and the cake card!
Lisa these are all so pretty, I love the way you lined up your canisters and how you added the apron to the vintage background, the quilt with the banner and then the cake--yum!
Great use of the kit items, Lisa. I saw humor in the placement of the apron with the legs showing. :D The quilt one caught my attention of course and I love the little tags you added across the sentiment.
Sorry I'm late Lisa - just back from vacation and catching up! I love love love all the extra details on your designs.. the bit of gitter on the cake plate, the banner on the quilted design and all the yummy layers of pattern paper ! Your eye for detail is always amazing!
