CCC #254 ~ From Our House to Yours!

Hello! Thought I would kick my weekend off with a card for this week's CASology challenge. House is their cue word and this is the house of my choosing!

I would love to live in a lighthouse. A cozy little home sweet home for my hubby and I. Image how lovely it would be to climb those stairs to the tippy top and gaze out over the water. To be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves then awakened by the call of the sea gulls soaring above. Ahhhh yes, it would be enchanting.....

This lighthouse image, by Inkadinkado, is one I picked up while on vacation in Cape Cod a few years ago. I added a little shimmer to the water, tops of the bushes and the lens with WOS. My sentiment is an oldie but a goodie by Hero Arts. A few Sparkling Clear sequins (4mm & 6mm) by Pretty Pink Posh were added for extra pizazz!

Have yourself a fabulous weekend! I'll be back on Monday with my Precious Remembrance Shop Design It Monday post.

Deliciously CAS, Lisa ... love how you've emphasised this fabulous little lighthouse with the double circle backgrounds! You sure make living in it sound so tempting! Hugs, Anita :)

Oh what a great idea for the cue word, Lisa! I would never have known how to use that little stamp, but you sure did! Must admit, I wouldn't choose to live in a lighthouse with waves crashing & all those steps--haha! Our dream home is a little lakeside cabin--now to win the lottery--haha!

What a wonderful take on the cue, Lisa, and your execution is brilliant! Those overlapping circles remind me of a view through a pair of binoculars - perhaps a ship's captain, grateful to be spotting 'land ahoy'! CAS cleverness! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CASology this week!

What a fascinating idea...to live in a lighthouse. I've never considered it before, but you make it sound so lovely and peaceful...hmmm, now I'm thinking about it! You have managed to make a small stamped image come to life on your card layout, such perfect accents and colors. I love those old Hero Arts sentiments (I have a few of them, still among my favorites)...so nice to see it used again! Thanks for joining us at CASology!

Wonderful CAS card, Lisa. Seems I saw something about you touring lighthouses in Michigan. There are plenty of them to see.
