Hello, friend!

Hey there! It seems my card making time has been limited as of late. I'm catching up on appointments, late spring/early summer cleaning, trying to plan a vacation, much needed clothes shopping...you name it, I'm doing it LOL!! I do need to squeeze in more crafting time though. I had so much fun putting this card together this evening. I'm entering it in The Paper Players CAS Feathered Friends challenge.

Everything began with my tiny IO bird's nest. I perched an IO bird on it then die cut it with my Pretty Pink Posh Mini Tags die. The sentiment is from PTI Tiny Tags. I stamped an IO vine in Versa Mark then embossed with clear embossing powder. Using the newest PPP Scallop Border 2 dies, I created a pretty topper for the card. The tag is adorned with a PPP bow (Twine & Bows dies) and a pearl.

Thanks for spending a bit of your day with me!

There are not enough hours in the day to get accomplished all we want to! At least you were able to squeeze in a bit of crafting "me" time! I love how your card just sparkles. What a great idea to emboss the vines!

Spotted this in the gallery and popped across to say that I think it is so beautiful. Clever techniques, so classy, delicate and eye catching x Yes there are definitely not enough hours in the day and the ones I got go so quickly! x

I've missed seeing more of your work, Lisa, but life can get in the way of crafting--haha! The sweet little bird & nest are perfect for the tiny tag & I adore the topper! Such a lovely card! Suppose Sweet P has her momma off from school, but I think we're due for a picture of that cutie pie! PS--remember, no humidity out this way--great place for a vacation!

This is so elegant!! I love the embossing on the white and the layering on the top with the kraft and the blue. You did a perfect job of using the colors again in your stamping!! Really great design!

I feel the same way with stamping, Lisa, I just haven't had enough time lately to spend at my craft table. The forecast this weekend is for rain, though, so I'm hopeful that I'll be able to make some cards.
Your card is super sweet!

I'm so happy I haven't missed out on this darling card ... blogger better get their stuff together soon!
Lisa I have always loved that tiny nest - I know I have an L.E. original with it that I adore - your wee little bird is a perfect mom. The clear embossing is genius - but I'm really curious about the kraft paper - also embossed? or is it a printed one?
LOve this darling creation! xx
