Hello, Lovely

Hiya! Popping in real quick with my card for this week's Papertrey Ink Make it Monday. Stephanie shared a fun Monochrome Color Pop technique that I wanted to try out. Here ya go!

I already had these two Simple Sunflowers die cuts on hand and wanted to put them to good use. Don't you just love them? They're such a pretty little sunflower! I added them, along with a few of their coordinating leaves, to a Mat Stack 4 die cut. My monochromatic background was created by stamping a Turning a New Leaf image in Ripe Avocado. The lighter shade was made with a second stamping.

I decided my pop of color needed an extra pop of color from some Pretty Pink Posh 6mm Marigold Sequins. Don't they match the Summer Sunrise ink perfectly! Love it when stuff like that works out!

Hi Lisa ~ Love the viney looking background you've created for these beautiful sunflowers. Sunflowers are my favorite because they're just such happy flowers. It's always great when the embellishments work out too! Thank goodness for PPP!! Thanks for sharing. ~HUGS~

Always nice when we have some pretty things already stamped and ready to go! This is beautiful Lisa, love the pop of yellow! Come to think of it I used the same colors. We seem to always be on the same track. Hope you are enjoying your DH new toy!

Great design, Lisa, placing your sunflowers on the Mat Stack die cut also stamped with green leaves! Sits beautifully on your leafy background.
