The last day of February means we're that much closer to spring ~ yippee! It also means it's time for a 12 Kits of Occasions post. Lindsey is our hostess this month. She's given us a perfectly lovely kit filled with oodles of blooms and meaningful sentiments that were all inspired by her sister. How sweet is that! This post is a long one kids...hang on!

I used a MFT die here to frame the cacti.

I tore the sparkly hugs sentiment from the kit, so I substituted mine from IO.
The border dies are PPP and butterflies are MS.

A PTI bookmark die here and a sprinkling of buttons from my stash.

It wouldn't be a 12 Kits post if I didn't use my ME frame!

I colored this flower spray with my water brush and inks.
The banner holding my IO sentiment is RC.

I do love the way this one turned out!
My water brush came in handy again as did the PTI border die.

Thanks for sticking with my for this long post.
I'm off to visit my teammates. Want to tag along?

Wow! Wow! and WOWWW! Lisa, all your cards are stunning! Your water colored flowers turned out so beautiful. After seeing everyone's cards who used it, I just might have the courage to water color mine. I adore the mason jar filled with those lovely flowers and sweet polka dotted background. One can never go wrong using polka dots. (wish I had more of that paper) ;0) The frame you used on your first card is so perfect with those cacti. Again, more fun polka dots. Love 'em all! You did Lindsey proud with the delightful cards you made with her kit. <3

It has all the components of GREAT from polka dots to my new acquired love for cactus!! : ) I'm also wild about the second to the last. That flower die is so delicate and pretty and what a brilliant idea to pair it with the barnwood. Seriously each and every card is fantastic!!!!

Lisa, you always rock the kits! Each card is a work of pure genius. The 'because' card with the white blooms backed by coral? Never thought to do that. Love the PTI bookmark with the pattern paper. had to buy that stamp, so casing that one. Gorgeous aqua hugs and sweet butterflies. Oh so sweet cactus and frame. And the grey pallet turned on it's side is another case in the works! And of course, the coloring on your last card, so lovely. Lovely too, the silver paper lace trim. All wonderful!

One of my favorite kits & boy did you know what to do with it, Lisa! I kept thinking each card was my favorite, but in the end I just love them all! I do really love the images & coloring of the last 2, but the first 2 are so soft & gorgeous--love them, too! PS--your comment on the PRS Blog made my day! Thank you so much for the support & encouragement!

These are so, so lovely, Lisa! You did such an amazing job with Lindsey's kit! Your watercolored blooms are so pretty in that soft lavender and I love the added silver trim. You added so many great details and used such beautiful soft colors. And what a fabulous idea to cut the pretty paper with a bookmark die and top with more lovely blooms.

Goodness, Lisa ... what a beautiful line-up! As I arrived at each card, I thought the next couldn't get any lovelier ... and then it did ... they're stunning! My particular favourites this month ... the last two ... delicate, watercoloured pastel die cut florals ... and that awesome silver and soft purple bouquet! Hugs, Anita :)

Your cards are all so fabulous, Lisa. I love how you trimmed the peekaboo die down to make a panel for the cacti. The white and orange blooms on the brown flowered background pop and I love the sentiment stamped on the flower head. The fence is a perfect backdrop for the watercolored die cut and the silver embossing makes your watercolored flowers glow. All in all a beautiful showcase.
