Just Because

My week has gotten off to a stuffy feeling icky start. But I can only be idle so long, even when I'm sick. So I mustered up the energy to make a card.

The ladies at Just Us Girls are looking for stripes and Sunday Stamps has a terrific sketch using a tag. I took the opportunity to use one of my favorite layered tags. Take a look...

I added the striped PP to a marshmallow card base then layered on the tags. The little girl (colored with Copics) is a Pure Innocence digital image I bought a few years ago. The tags are topped off with a SB bow. I love how sweet this looks!

Okay, I'm off to idle away the afternoon.

Well I learned something new here today Lisa...I did not know MFT had digital images! All I could think of was how did I miss this stamp (I have quite a few of the PI stamps!)??!! The image is just ADORABLE and colored so sweetly too! And of course the double tag, the bow, and the DSP all make this card just totally SWEET! Sorry to hear you're not feeling the greatest...hope it all clears up real soon! Hugs my friend!! :0)

Well Hello Lisa!!! I do apologize for my absence, as I'm not out and about in blogland all too often. In fact, the only blogs I've been to in the last year or so is yours and Darnell's! But since I don't see you on IG, I want to make sure to come say hi and see what you've been up to. And good thing too, as I wouldn't have wanted to miss this sweet little thing! Simply adorable, and I love the way you've colored her! The bow and pink stripes totally put it over the top. Adore!!

Also wanted to let you know what a smile you put on my face when you come visit. You're a true friend, Lisa! Much love to you!!!

xo,
Kelly

Completely agree - being sick and idle makes me go batty! Love this card - would never have been able to tell you were under-the-weather when creatiing it. Your creativity is always amazing - I mean that tilted bow? SO cute!!!
