The Best Ever

Hello lovelies! I'm popping in today with a card for The Paper Players challenge.

Every time I saw someone had used the Lawn Fawn quilted backdrop cover plate, I said to myself, I need that. I finally gave into that little voice and one came home to live with me! I love that you can leave the little dots in place or poke them out to let another color peek through. I chose to let some aqua peek through today. Some Pebbles PP and a PTI spiral notebook die cut were added to complete the sketch design. Then I topped everything off with images and die cuts from Wplus9's Hello and Thanks set.

Okay, I'm off. They're calling for snow later today and through the night. Gotta get those errands in!

I've been saying the same thing Lisa, and so I just went to Lawn Fawn's site and ordered the cover plate too! (along with a stamp set too, because, welllll...you know how it goes!!) But anyway, your card is absolutely lovely and your pp look so pretty together! :0)

What a beautiful take on this sketch, Lisa! I love that cover plate, too!!! Haven't bought it...yet...hahaha :) Hope you get your errands finished up before the snow hits. I also schedule my trips to town around the weather forecasts :)

Everything about your card is so delicate and pretty Lisa, including that wonderful cover die in white over aqua. Paper piecing the tea cup and saucer reminds of some antique china my mom kept in her cabinet. Love your sweet card! It's always wonderful to spot your card in the Player's gallery!

Lisa I love that sentiment and pretty card. I will assume you got the snow, I think it is everywhere. We have had a foot fall on the ground in the last two days and it is still snowing! Hope you got your errands done, stay warm!

This is so beautiful. I love that you poked out the little bits and pieces of the coverplate to let the color underneath show through. The background really adds to to the vintage vibe of your card.

Well this about the sweetest/most inviting tea setting I've ever seen! I would jump right over for a cuppa, if I could! Love that background and I think much the same - maybe one of these days I'll finally take the plunge! You've used it beautifully - so glad it's part of your collection!

That background was definitely a great purchase - it gives the card such a soft and comforting look. And you've used one of my favorite stamp sets - I love how you added patterns to the cup.
