Hello!

Isn't this polka dotty watermelon comforter in our Inspired By photo cute? There are also colorful pineapples if that's more your style. Me... I'm a polka dots and watermelon kind of girl!

I recently broke my favorite polka dot embossing folder. Can you believe it, must have worn it out! I had a hard time finding a new one. I bought this cover plate from Avery Elle thinking it was what I was looking for. It wasn't, but then it kind of grew on me, so I've put it to good use today!

I backed the open dots with lilac paper then added a strip of DeNami Design watermelons. The yellow rhinestones are my way of giving a little nod to the fun pineapple pillow.

Okay, your turn! Need more inspiration? Hop over to the IB blog to check out what the team has done!

Oh my goodness, you broke a FOLDER? I have taken mine apart sometimes, to get them to go in a different orientation! I guess I have a destructo nature! ANYWAY, these little purple polka dots are a delightful background for your sweet watermelons! LOVE it!

Marisela Delgado said: so pretty, Lisa. I love polka dots, too. One time, on someone's blog, she had taped her embossing folder sides with clear tape. Her folder had broken and she loved it so much to part with it. I think that would work only on a simple design, but she got it working. You never know. 😊 Beautiful card! It all worked beautifully. I can't imagine breaking an embossing folder, Lisa, but I do love that polka dot die. The variation in color of the watermelon slices is fantastic!
