Just Us Girls #722 ~ Get Well Soon

Hello and welcome! I'm hosting over at Just Us Girls for Word Week. I thought RAIN was an appropriate word for April. I'm hoping that's not the case for the entire month. Sweet P started softball practice yesterday! And guess what? Her daddy is her coach!! They are both beyond excited. He played baseball from T-ball all the way through high school. As luck would have it a spot opened up and he jumped at it. This is going to be a fun season!

Okay, you came here for a card, so here you go!

I pulled out some older products to play with for this card. A rain drop embossing folder by TE was my jumping off point. The panel was framed with a P&M cloudy die cut then topped with an umbrella and clouds from PPP's Rainy Days stamp and die sets. A quick and simple card to send get well wishes.

I hope you can find time to play along with us this week, we love it when you do!

Love this, Lisa, especially your scalloped flowers in the background, to remind us that all this rain should pay off in the end!!

I like this topic a lot for a challenge. Such a sweet and pretty spring card Lisa. I especially love the floral scalloped frame! Great rain embossing folder, too!!! Really cute card.

I am laughing to myself about everyone's comments that rain is appropriate for spring...I have never lived where spring is associated with rain. But I know it does elsewhere and again, great choice for word week!

It'll be super fun to watch P and your son together!

This is so sweet and pretty, Lisa! It seems there's plenty of rain to go around this year. That's one of the cutest scalloped frames I've ever seen, not to mention the wonderful flowered paper you cut it from. Got to love the peachy houndstooth umbrella, and the embossed raindrops, too!
