Wishing You Happiness

The Paper Players are celebrating their 700th challenge! That's quite a milestone, ladies. Congratulations!

I didn't want to let this pass by without them knowing how much I appreciate their card challenge. It's always been a go to for me. LeAnne has given us a sketch to work with this week. This is my take on it...

I had this Poppystamps butterfly already cut and thought it was a good substitute for the largest circle. The bottom layer was stamped with polka dots and the body colored with a Copic marker. I popped this onto a polka dot embossed panel, matted with black then, onto the card base. Little leafy stems by TSM were my choices for the other two circles in the sketch. A simple sentiment from on older PTI Mat Stack finished it off.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you're staying cool; we're back up to 90 for a few days... ugh!

Your favorite dots are just the spot for your sweet flutterby, Lisa! Are your pretty stripes stamped or is it a patterned paper - inquiring minds want to know! x

What a darling card, Lisa and a wonderful take on the sketch! I like how you carried the polka dots from the beautiful butterfly to the embossed background and the striped paper you used for the leafy branches ties it all together! Thank you so much for joining our 700th challenge celebration!
