Just Us Girls #789 ~ love you

Hey there! I'm hosting this week's challenge at Just Us Girls. School started this week in our neck of the woods, so I picked that as my Mood Board theme for you. But you can make anything you like, whatever inspires you from the photo!

Our Sweet P is moving up to the Intermediate school; 5th grade. Holy smokes, how can that be??!! I made this card with our sweet girl in mind.

I used an arch die and woodgrain paper to mimic the chair. An apple (PTI) and a few Copic colored sprigs were tucked in. I embossed my background paper with an alphabet EF and backed it with the same red used for the apple. A simple tiny tag was tied to the apple to send a little love.

Alrighty, it's your turn now.

I sure hope you'll join us this week!

Lisa, you've created a wonderful school-themed card for your Sweet P. Perhaps she can tuck it in her school bag and bring 'you' to school with her every day.
Grade 5 already; yes, time flies. My niece is headed into Gr. 10 (ACK!) and my nephew, into Gr. 8 (double ACK!)! Growing up happening way too fast!

Love your card Lisa. I thought of the white chair as soon as I saw your arched die cut from woodgrain paper. That apple with the tag is so cute. Hope your Sweet P has a great school year.

Time marches on! How sweet this is. Sweet enough for your Sweet P who's entering 5th grade. Pretty with the apple peeking from the arched frame. The leaves in the background are perfect, and the subtle embossed letters are a fine touch. I especially love the little star tag tied onto the apple stem. Cute!

So much to love about this darling card, Lisa. The slight embossed background looks wonderful with the leafy greens. It's hard to believe your little miss "P" is starting 5th grade. Seems like yesterday you were sharing her birth with us. Time certainly does go by fast. Love every moment.

I love your take on your super mood board Lisa. So many creative elements here. The subtle background alphabet and big juicy apple. The arch made me think of your Sweet P opening the door to new adventures. Oh they grow up too fast. My two gg's are going into their third year. Fabulous!

Such an adorable card for Sweet P! Just doesn't seem possible she's in 5th grade! I still remember when you announced that you were going to be a grandma! So great she's near you!

A cute take on the photo Lisa. They grow up to so quickly, my eldest starts his GCSEs this year and his brother starts junior school!
