PDCC #100 ~ Sending You Sunshine!

Hi there...any exciting plans for your weekend? I see a bicycle ride for our agenda on this bright sunny day! We still have a lot of green here in Ohio with hint of yellow and orange showing on some of the trees. The goldenrod, marigolds and sunflowers are fading as the mums begin to show their lovely blooms. This week's colors for the Play Date Cafe challenge are perfect to welcome in the fall season. Julie and her team are celebrating 100 challenges! Big congrats to them for this milestone. Be sure to stop by and show them some love!

Our last day of summer was glorious...sunny blue skies and a warm 73. But yesterday; our first day of fall was rainy and a chilly 62. I thought I would send out a bit of sunshine for those in need! My background paper is from the Fine and Dandy: true blue 6x6 pad. These sweet tiny tags are a QuicKutz die. All of my stamps and other dies are from Papertrey Ink. The orange scallops are actually the negative from their small rickrack die. Have a splendid day and thanks for stopping by! ~Lisa

I like your softer take on the colors, Lisa. This is really pretty :) I am jealous of the turning leaves and nice weather you are having there! It's still too stinkin' hot to think about bike rides here and I don't see leaves changing anytime soon :( Oh well. I think that's TX for ya.

Lisa, your farewell to summer and hail to autumn card is gorgeous in the autumn colors. The east coast is having much rain and could use some sunshine for sure. I think we had 4 or 5 " yesterday. Today it's just drizzling. Have a happy Sunday.

Oh, what a lovely card! Great choice of stamps for those colors, and you did a perfect job of stamping on those sunflower die cuts (it's not easy, I know!). Love the patterned paper, too!

What a great job on your card! It's beautiful! Wish NC had been as beautiful and cool as your Ohio weather is right now! We are still lingering in the mugging mid 80's!

I like the muted tones of our colors you chose, Lisa. Those sunflowers are so pretty, and love the little one peeking out behind the sentiment tag. Thanks for celebrating our 100th challenge with us at The Cafe!
