I've used a collection of papers from the Cosmo Cricket: Circa 1934 collection and a bit of leather textured paper from a local craft store. I was going for the look of a desk blotter, pen and ink set. This vintage pen is from Renaissance Art Stamps, the ink well is by Just For Fun and one of my new fav flourishes by American Crafts came from Hobby Lobby! Honestly I go into that store for adhesive and always walk away with more!!! That's it for tonight friends ~Lisa

Oh, yeah! It's a perfect masculine card! Love the patterned papers and the writing implements theme!
Lisa, this is gorgeous! You've definitely achieved the desk look with blotter, ink, and pen. :-)
This is so pretty Mom! I love the colors and the writing theme! It's so fun to visit your little blog and see all the amazing cards you are making. One of these days I'll get my teaching blog up! Promise!
Oh man, you worked in those elements so nicely! I wanted to work in the pen and alphabet and such. But when I started working on my card, it just took another turn. (It's not posted yet, I'm trying to pace myself for this 31 Days challenge thing!) ;-) Great card, Lisa! I just love the way you use patterns in your cards.
Great card Lisa!! Love how it looks like a vintage desk or book!! Also love the papers you chose - really shows of the colors perfectly.
This is unbelievably elegant and subtle, you really took these colors and made them work so well together!
