DeNami Challenge #9 ~ Anything Goes!

Another DeNami challenge friends! Yay...this time the rules are to use any DeNami stamp. What to do...what to do??? Well now their ice-skating set has got to be one of my favorites. Those wee skates and sweet petite mittens are the cutest! Here's what I came up with.

As you can see I went with a pastel winter themed card. Do you think Dorothy Hamill would have worn lavender skates?! My card starts with a fun limeaid plaid print paper from Lasting Impressions. I added a panel of wisteria cardstock and a fun polka dot strip from Lilybeedesigns: picket fence. I die cut the little squares with the PTI: take three die. My trio of stamps from the ice-skating set were stamped with chalk ink. The mittens and ear muffs were colored with chalk and embellished with glitter. The skates are glazed. This tiny open button from DeNami is embossed with silver embossing powder, colored with Tombow marker and cut out. Don't you just love the two silver baby button brads. I have these in several colors and kinda hoard them cuz they're so darn cute!

That's it for me friends, take care ~Lisa

Oh I love this Lisa, what an adorable and wonderful winter stamp set. Your colours are amazing and the glitter accents are just right plus those button brads are so worth hoarding! When I was in grade 6 I had hair below my waist and I cut it off to the Dorothy Hamill haircut just to impress my way too old tennis instructor just to have him tell me my new hair was CUTE. lol

At first glance I thought this was a baby shower card (not sure why, just humor me) but when I saw it was a winter themed card, I almost shouted BRILLIANT! Purple and green--my new fave winter theme colors!!! :)

Lisa, this is adorable. I love the color combination with these cute little denami stamps. Yes, Dorothy Hamill would have worn lavender skates. She was styling. I so wanted to look like her when I was 13 years old. I had a Hamill haircut at that age, but didn't quite pull it off like she did. Fun, fun card.
