RS #11 &PDCC #131 ~ Happy Summer!

Welcome! We've had a busy few days and more to come! My hubs is on vacation...YAY! Mother's Day was filled with visits to the moms, dinner out, having my handsome son by my side for Mother's Day Mass and the prettiest flowering plant for our patio from my sweetest of sweets daughter-in-law! Then there was yard work and some landscaping to be done (more of that is in order over the next few days!). So my sweet friends I will try to pop in as I can. We have no definite plans, just taking it day at a time!!

Now down to my card for today. I've put this one together with the latest Retro Sketches design by Tracy and the new Play Date Cafe colors. It's pretty simple and these little fishes are too much fun! They're BasicGrey clear stamps that I picked up at Archivers for $1.99....score! My sentiment is from Savvy Stamps.

Thanks for stopping by to visit ~Lisa

Well, I say you nailed this one. Great card and steal of a deal with the fish stamp. Glad your Mother’s day was a good one. You made me laugh when you said that you could squeeze them. ( I so get that) :) Yard work can be fun so hope you enjoy!

Hello Lisa! Amazing that you got those fish (PERFECT - hello! - for our challenge) for under two dollars! Lucky duck!

Sounds like you had a lovely Mother's Day; I'm so glad. I did too. :)

One of the things I love about you is that you always express perfectly your gratitude and excitement for life, and all the things that go with it. You make me smile. :)

Hi Dotchie! No worries on the name;I have a neighbor who still calls me Julie & we've lived here 6 years! The BasicGrey fish stamps were as small clear set I bought a few years ago at a local scrapbooking store called Archivers. You can find of them on line, they have many locations.I checked the BasicGrey site but didn't see the fishes there, you might do a search for them at other places that carry BasicGrey or perhaps ebay. Hope this helps!
