It's challenge number 7 for us at Dynamic Duos and this is black tie week with the dessert option of ribbon. Melon Mambo and Basic Black make a lovely combination and I can't wait to see what you put together! I have a little thank you number that could be sent to the hostess after attending a black tie event.
I layered a pretty doily over a panel of Melon Mambo cardstock then added a black PTI filigree border. My elegant sentiment (a free stamp from PaperTrey Ink) was stamped on a Spellbinders label 18 die cut. I love the way it fits ~ almost like they were made for each other. Not being a girl to pass up dessert very often (especially if it's something chocolate!) I added a pretty little bow and topped the whole thing off with a sprinkling of buttons. This card went together very fast. I probably spent the most time fudging with my bow!

Oh Lisa, this is a GORGEOUS card! I love the combination of pink and black, and your lace, buttons, and bow additions are so perfectly chosen and placed--the overall effect is perfection (as usual!). Hope I get a chance to play with this combo when I return to town!
