Hello out there in blogland I hope everyone has had an enjoyable day! I took some time between loads of laundry to make a card or two. The sketch by Laurie over Retro Sketches this week was too cute to let it slip by and the colours from Lesley over at the Paper Players seemed like a real challenge that I was determined to tackle!
This adorable little choir boy image from Stamp Camp holds a place near and dear to my heart. A sweet friend from church ordered cards from me every few months for her family and friends. After showing her ALL of my stamp images this was the one she chose...the one and ONLY one. All card orders were, and I quote ~ "Make me some cards with my little cutie"!!! Oh she was a pip, a rascal in her own right. She would come to the pew, nudge my husband and tell him to make room! Sadly after the loss of her husband a couple of years ago she longed to be with him and passed away a few months back. They were the sweetest little old couple. She often told my husband and I that we reminded her of them; years ago.
Thanks for stopping by to visit it means the world to me ~Lisa
