CCC #27 ~ I am Blue Without You!

Azure, cerulean, sapphire, baby, sky, robin's egg, cobalt, cornflower, indigo, slate and navy just to name a few...these are some choices of the color blue! Gotcha thinking a little bit now didn't I ~hee! The CASology cue word this week is blue. I decided my card would use blue as a color as well as a feeling. Take a peek at my melancholy blue bird on this card I made for the challenge.

Isn't he a sweet little fella with his itty bitty beanie. This stamp is from Magenta and there are actually four birds, but I chose to mask one lone tweety all by himself for my card. The sentiment if from a Clear and Simple set that I won last year. It's stamped on a PTI double ended banner. A few sparkly gems and a snippet of scrap paper complete my 4"x4" card.

That's it for my today. My hubby has a root canal this afternoon, might be in need of some TLC and something nice and soft for dinner. Maybe I'll whip us up a meatloaf along with some mashed potatoes and a vegi...sound good? ~Lisa

I LOVE how you have used this challenge - colors and mood!! That little guy is absolutely charming. Take care of hubby - mine had oral surgery last week but did very, very well - other than complaining that he was really tired of applesauce and yogurt. My 17-year old is going to have all of his wisdom teeth out next week - I'm not thinking that will go as well!

Love that cute little birdie and all the different blues!
Boo! on the root canal!! I've had my fair share of those and they are no fun. Mashed potatoes should do the trick! Sounds like a nice comfort meal :)

This is just so very sweet...OK...another new favorite from you I think! That little bird could not be cuter dressed in those blues and paired with that sentiment! And he's so tiny but doesn't get lost in this perfectly balanced layout you've created! LOVE this!!!
