CCC #44 ~ God Bless You!

Hello my sweet blogging friends! I hope your week is going well. Our weather took a turn for the better and we're enjoying warm sunny days. While Max took a power nap after our morning walk, I tossed a load of laundry in and put together a quick card for the CASology challenge. The cue word is {bloom} and here's my take on it!

Remember that walk I mentioned. Well....we pass by the prettiest little patch of Lily of the Valley. They are in full bloom and smell simply heavenly! Max thinks mommy lingers to let him explore where other critters have been frolicking about. Truth be told, I'm drinking in the sweet floral scent wafting through the air!! I stamped my Impression Obsession lilies on light green, colored them and cut the paper into a tag. A strip of Scor Tape was added to the bottom and sprinkled with glitter. This was backed with a soft pink paper, trimmed out then adorned with a simple bit of sparkly tulle and a pearlized button. I do love this sentiment by Inkadinkado, such a sweet font.

There you go friends, quick and simple! Off to get a meatloaf whipped up for dinner. Sounds tasty huh. I'm going to add some roasted asparagus and baby red potatoes to that menu! Thanks for peeking in today ~Lisa

Lily of the Valley are among my favorite flowers...because of my great grandmother. She had beds of the original blooms we've long since hybridized and they smelled heavenly! I love this image and your coloring is fabulous! I love your tag focal point :)

You perfectly described the essence of Lily of the Valley, Lisa, and then you made a sweet card that is the essence of CAS! Well done! (But mean of you to then describe the essence of your delish dinner plans! Whimper!)

So so beautiful! Lily of the Valley is so pretty and yes has the most beautiful scent. Victoria Secret use to sell a Lily of the Valley lotion (like a million years ago) and I miss it!

I love the soft colors of your card!

Ooooh, meatloaf sounds delicious! (3 days late - haha!)

I'm afraid that I have no choice but to put this sweet little card into my 'CASE to the T' file. I love it! All that gorgeous white space, the pretty colors, sweet touches of embellishment, lovely sentiment, clean and simple.... It's perfect, my friend. Absolutely perfect. ;-)
