cQc #213 ~ Thanks!

Hello bloggy friends! It's Tuesday morning and that means a new challenge and color palette at the ColourQ. I don't know where Arielle finds all of the fabulous inspiration photos she uses, you are going to love this one! But lets take a peek at my card first shall we...

This one came together quickly and started with a basic gray base cut to 4 1/4" x 4 1/4". My PTI spiral notebook die cut was stamped with this pretty leaf by Rubber Monger. It's a wood block stamp I've had for a long time. When we had our son's engagement party a few years back I stamped the invitations with this leaf and water colored it! Anywho, I colored the stamped image with layers of colored pencils to get just the right shade of peach. Then I stamped and fussy cut one on lilac paper. I tied a bit of melon berry twill ribbon to the die cut then added the lilac leaf with foam tape. A tiny tag holds the sentiment. I tucked some scallops under the edge then added a couple of gray gems. I like this soft color palette on the gray background! Looks cozy huh!

And speaking of cozy was I right? Isn't this a pretty quilt. Looks so soft and cozy for this cool autumn day! Can't wait to see how it inspires you. Thanks for popping by today, I appreciate your visits! ~Lisa
