DeNami Pin-spired ~ Happy Thanksgiving!

Isn't this a pretty picture!! Paulina found this beauty on Pinterest for the DeNami Pin-spired feature. I was definitely inspired with this charming fall scene and put this card together to share with you.

I knew right away I would center my design around the Flower Box Window stamp. It's been stamped, trimmed out and turned upside down! I wanted to use the window box as a cornice to give the window a more architectural look. I stamped it again on scrap paper and then embossed it with the Honeycomb embossing folder. This reminds me of old fashioned leaded glass windows! I trimmed out each panel then added them to the window. There is a bit of chalk dusted on the inside of each honeycomb for a warm glow.

Next up I cut a panel a bit larger than the window and stamped images from the Autumn stamp set around it to mimic the garlands in the inspiration photo. This is added to my embossed card base with foam tape. I added chalk to the embossed card base too. It's added to the raised portion of the embossing rather than the inside. The window was added with foam tape and the cornice to the window with foam tape too. Lots of depth! Finally I die cut three banners to hold my sentiment. Hope you like it!!

Don't forget to visit my teammates today, they have projects to share too! I've listed them here for your convenience. Have a delightful day ~Lisa

What a cool take on the photo, Lisa! After I finished my card, I slapped my forehead and asked why didn't I think to focus in on the window? So I'm really glad that YOU did! Love your "cornice"!
