Home Again, Home Again!

Hi there! It seems like forever since I've written a post on the actual day it posted. The last couple of weeks were things that I made awhile back for DT assignments and things to post while we were on vacation. I'm finally caught up with errands, groceries, mail, laundry and all of that stuff you have to do after being away from home.

We rented a pretty log cabin in the woods and had a relaxing get-a-way with our son & daughter-in-law and my parents. Little Max too! It was so nice not to see an airplane or hear cars rushing about. Just the sounds of the breezes in the trees, birds chirping and our laughter. There was one particular whippoorwill that would visit every night promptly at 9:30! And the sweetest kitty that visited with us almost everyday. She was the prettiest little black and white cat that our son discovered was ready to deliver kittens anytime. Our expectant daughter-in-law fell head over heels for this little momma!!

I found my mojo once again. I think it arrived home several days after we did ~ HA! So I'm entering this birthday card in the Seize The Birthday challenge (my first time to play along). This round is anything goes. I'll set this aside for my dad who has a late summer birthday!

I've used a variety of companies on this one. My sky blue cardstock and waves embossing folder is DeNami Design. The fancy little fish is Stamping Sensations, something I found while at the stamp convention a couple of years ago. I love the font on this sentiment by Reverse Confetti. The super cute anchor Washi is from Archivers, don't remember who made it, but I love it! And who doesn't LOVE LOVE this sweet stitched scallop border from Pretty Pink Posh!!

It's good to back home and getting inky again.
Have a delightful weekend friends, see you soon.

Welcome home Lisa! Sounds like a wonderful trip. Sure takes a while to get back in the swings of things. My DH was still on vacation when we got back from Yosemite , so I tried to stay off the computer.
Your card is beyond darling, love the fish and waves.
I can still feel the joy and anticipation of your first grand baby! I am over the moon for you and Cathy w.
