CASology ~ Wish!

Hey there! Is it unusually cool in your neck of the woods? We have a high of 68 today...in AUGUST!!??!! We're usually in a big ol' heat wave with the air conditioning going full steam ahead. What's up with that? Now mind you, I'm not complaining. These fall like temps are just lovely, but it makes me a bit nervous about...dare I say the word...winter! Maybe we'll get lucky and things will flip around with an unusually warmer winter. A girl can dream!

Okay enough of the weather, it is what it is! Let's get to my card today. I saw the CASology cue word was magic and thought that sounded fun. Wasn't sure what I might make until I pulled open one of my wood stamp drawers and this little lady was saying "pick me, pick me"! And that I did.

You know these are the stamps I used when posting my very first card! You can take a peek at that card here if you would like to! The genie and the bottle are both from Vippies and the little Wish sentiment is from the PTI tiny tags set. I rubbed gray chalk around the top of the bottle and the genie to give the smokey "coming out of the bottle" effect. Then I added the panel to a soft stone card base with foam tape. A few PPP 4mm & 6mm Sparkling Clear Sequins for fun and that magic was done!!

Oh and for the record... Upon showing this to my hubby (expert card critic!!), he informed me that "Jeannie" had blonde hair! I told him that her sneaky sister (remember her!) had dark brown hair so this little gal of mine falls somewhere in between!!

Have a terrific day friends ~Lisa

Lisa! I LOVE this!!! :) Look at all the movement on this! Did I say I LOVE this?!!! Thank you for joining us over at CASology this week!

We're enjoying the mild temperatures here too and I keep wondering the same thing as you are, but someone told me we might be in for a mild winter...according to a meteorologist he knows. Guess we won't know until winter arrives! :)

I had a literal laugh out loud moment when saw this and, of course, immediately thought of Jeannie and Tony! Adorable!

Cooler temps here too (although not as cool as yours). Like you, I hope this does not mean a cold winter is headed our way!

OMG - you DO NOT have a genie stamp! YES YOU DO! I love both your cards! Don't ever sell that set (unless it's to me!) I love how you've used it here - so simple and clean, although I love the dotted circles on your first card too! So glad you shared this with us at CASology this week!

Your card is so clever. I have not heard of that stamp company. When we learn to not ask our husbands about our cards? But it is the two of us and the dog.
