Royally Charming!

Well hi ya, how are you? My week has just been dandy with little Sweet P and I spending our days together. Daddy is working from home today, so grandma has the day off and I plan to run several errands and I'm getting a late start. But before I'm off and running, I have a card to share!

Have you seen that CASology has teamed up with sweet Darnell this week in her NBUS challenge? Yep that's right, the cue word is NBUS. In case you're unfamiliar with Darnell's term, it means Never Before Used Schtuff! My inspiration for the design comes from my friend Jen's cute sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches. I'll also be playing along at SSS's Wednesday Challenge blog, {It's a Guy Thing}.

I bought a Darcies stamp set at last Spring's stamp convention specifically for this little knight in shining armor. That's the way I think of my husband, my hero! But I have yet to use him and today is the day!

I made a circle stencil to ink in my background. Then I added the sentiment, so cute just like my guy! My knight is stamped and trimmed out, then added with foam tape. I love this card and will give it my hubby for something special.

I hope you have a simply delightful day! ~Lisa

Well your card is royally darling! So so precious! I am so glad you are enjoying your time. Now let's see if Daddio actually got any work done or if the non-diaper duty/feeding time cuddling! Gosh, I miss that stage!

This is so darling!! I love the soft background you created for "Mr. Right" : ) adorable!

So happy for you that you are able to care for your sweet P. What a blessing for Mom and Dad to know their precious daughter is with you while they can't be with her.

Goodness me, I'm late to the commenting party by the time I got to you in my gallery! This is the picture of Clean And Simple, Lisa! And of adorable!!

Now, I know it's just the way my brain works, but when I read your paragraph about your husband being your hero ... and then you said you had "yet to use him," well, it sounded (only to me, I'm sure) like you meant your husband! I know you meant the stamp, but I giggled when I read it the other way! Why yes, I am heavily medicated.

Thank you so much for playing in our joint CASology and NBUS Challenges this week! It's been the most fun!! Have a great weekend! Smooches to the P!! Hugs, Darnell
