RS #152 ~ With Sympathy

Golly it's cold!!! And they say it is going to be even colder over the next few days. How many days till spring? Too many! I've chosen to play with paper flowers to take my mind off of the snowflakes! This card is for the latest Retro Sketches challenge.

Two pieces of scrap patterned paper form the large rectangle in the sketch. I decided to use some die cut leaves for the thin horizontal rectangle. It's topped with the sentiment banner and a flower. I used a snippet of tulle trim to soften the bloom. All of the die cuts and stamps are by Reverse Confetti.

I like the way this turned out! It's a small card measuring 4" x 4 1/4/". It could be mailed or tucked into a bouquet of flowers or a plant as a token of sympathy. Happily I don't need a card like this, but they are good to have on hand.

Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit. It's been a few days between posts. I've been busy with my little Sweet P! Take care friends ~Lisa

Gorgeous sympathy card. I love your soft color palette-it ads to the feeling of comfort on your card. PLEASE come visit me if you are concerned about the cold--we are having a heat wave, and it was in the 80s yesterday. I kid you not--I had to run the A/C for a few hours in the afternoon.

I would choose a sweet baby girl over card making any day! ;-) This card, though, is so very lovely. I love the soft colors and that fabulous little flower ensemble. Beautifully done! Enjoy your time with Sweet P. ;-)

So pretty, Lisa! I need a few more of these on hand, unfortunately, too. I never feel like making them when they're needed. It's freezing here, too... just started snowing a couple of hours ago. I don't even want to go outside, though. Well, stay warm, and enjoy your time with Sweet P. Hugs!
